"Wax" Museum

I took Maizy to a "wax" museum at one of the local schools in May. It was a fun little outing.

Welcome Home Carrie!

It was so much fun playing at the airport this morning while we waited for Carrie to arrive. I wish Oscar had gotten to bed earlier the night before though, he said that's the reason he was not being the most pleasant person. Zeke just has a lot of energy. I thought we were going to be banned from the airport for his continuous riding on the escalators, even after a security officer had already talked to him earlier. I told Zeke that we will have to save our money to buy an escalator that he can play on. The ones at the airport aren't ours, so we can't play on them.

I didn't get many pictures taken with my camera. I know others have some good ones. I just thought I'd post some of what I captured. You're so beautiful Carrie...sorry we stole your balloons...Welcome Home!!!

Those who were at the airport this morning included: Uncle Allen, Aunt Kathy, Natalie, Grandma and Grandpa Lee, Aunt April, Uncle Bryan, Aunt Lisa, Jason, Austin, Aunt Julie, Charity, Mandy, Oscar, Zeke, Maizy, and Stella.

Congrats to Shannen!

Word is that Shannen received her first acceptance letter from an agent for her book she's been trying to get published. Her dream is now in reach!

More Birthday Shoutouts!

This past week Maizy celebrated her 5th birthday on the 20th. Dianne celebrated her birthday in the 24th, and Charity celebrated Dianne's birthday by getting a haircut on her 1 year anniversary since she last cut her hair. Charity than celebrated her birthday on the 25th with dinner at Archibald's and watching the pleasure of getting her dad and sister Mandy to watch Twilight and New Moon! Mandy celebrated her birthday up at the canyons for the annual Platt Family Reunion, which was fantastic! Uncle Ted also celebrated his bithday on the 30th, which was also the day Mikayla Faldmo was born! Exciting!

Birthday Celebrations

The Jacob household celebrate a number of birthday's lately. We already mentioned Oscar, but Stella and Cambrea both recently celebrated theirs.

Uncle Bryan also celebrate his 50th birthday the night before his birthday with a big open house. I've been waiting forever for Mandy to make her post for it, but I've decided to just do it myself. She could add pictures later if she wants to.

Oscar celebrated his 10th birthday with his friends at Niclecade. He had a lot of fun.

Braxton and Charity became buds

Last weekend, Memorial Day weekend, David and Cambrea came up with their two kids Braxton and Devry. In past times Braxton was always weary of me, but this past weekend we became buds. I really enjoyed my weekend with him. He even stayed in Nursery with me the whole time. Lets just hope we're still buds when he comes to visit again.
